MG06F Cable Mount Plug

MG 06F is a bayonet locking style cable connector with the following features:

• Coupling ring to lock onto a connector with external bayonet threading.
• Available with male (pins) or female (sockets) contacts.
• Will mate with MG 02 and MG 01 styles.
• All are with solder contacts.
• Supplied with a straight body backshell, rubber bushing (boot) incorporating a strain-relief clamp..

These are circular connectors with rugged aluminium alloy shells and reverse bayonet coupling. Based on MIL-C-5015, there is a wide range of contact arrangements available. These connectors give quick positive coupling with audible indication of full coupling.

Other attributes include high shock and vibration capabilities without the need for lockwiring. The connectors offer an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C & are intermateable with VG95234 and 121B connectors.

Designed originally as a military connector, current applications include railways, process control equipment, communication equipment, stage lighting, mining equipment ..... to name a few.
