MS 3101E Cable Mount Plug

MS 3101E is an in-line cable connector primarily used to extend a cable length. It has the following features:

• External threading to accept a connector with a mating coupling-ring.
• Available with male (Pins) or female (Sockets) contacts.
• Will mate with MS 3106 and (if required, MS 3108)  styles.
• All are with solder contacts.
• Supplied with a strain-relief clamp.

These connectors are ideal for use in highly ruggedized applications, where power/signal has to be transmitted in an environment of extremely low or high temperatures, with high vibration and shock also present. Apart from providing mechanical protection to the contacts, the connectors offer the advantage of being light weight and easy to handle, which facilitates ease of mating/unmating.
