Damaged or poor quality cables can sometimes be a source of water ingress into luminaires and other devices. This can be stopped by using xDRY® connectors.

A specific co-molding technology for waterproof and dustproof  installations ( IP66/IP68/IP69K ) combined with a special internal barrier against ingress from the cable, make xDRY® connection solutions  highly reliable for installations in harsh environments and resistant to humidity penetration from the cable due to capillary action.
