Customised Enclosures for Sydney Landmark

We were recently asked to design and fabricate customised enclosures for Sydney’s latest landmark, the Sydney Gateway Flyover Bridge.

The Sydney Gateway Flyover Bridge is a new and vital link connecting St Peters to Sydney Airport, enhancing the connectivity and accessibility of the area. This bridge is not only functional but also visually stunning, thanks to Coolon's Spectrum RGBW IP.

Twelve custom-designed, robust industrial enclosures were fabricated to facilitate an easy, plug-and-play installation on-site. These enclosures are securely mounted on the arches and are engineered to withstand the rigours of an outdoor environment without impacting on the aesthetics of the bridge.

Each enclosure is built to house and protect the sophisticated lighting control equipment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of the Spectrum RGBW IP system. The durable construction of these enclosures guarantees long-term reliability and minimal maintenance, even in challenging weather conditions.

The enclosures went through a rigorous design process to ensure they could withstand vibration, along with the weight holding capacity of not only the mounting brackets but also the gear tray.

Manufactured from 316 stainless steel and powder coated white to blend seamlessly with the design elements of the bridge, these boxes will last for years with no ongoing maintenance requirements.
