When the Standard Label Isn't Enough

When a pushbutton needs custom wording, RAFI offers several ways to label it. The right one depends on the product, the material and the quantity.

Printed by RAFI

RAFI prints custom legends onto plastic bezels and pressure pads using pad printing, on the front or the rear. Rear printing is abrasion-resistant. Front printing has an optional protective lacquer.

The metal plates on RAFIX 30 FS+ illuminated pushbuttons and RAMO 30 T with ring lighting are laser-engraved, giving a water-resistant, smudge-proof legend.

Both are custom jobs, with a minimum order of 50.

Printed by you

FLEXLAB illuminated pushbuttons and signal indicators (RAFIX and RAMO series) and LUMOTAST 16 C-LAB pushbuttons take a legend insert under a transparent bezel, which protects the insert from abrasion.

Blank A4 insert sheets print on an office laser printer, in positive or negative. One sheet holds 54 FLEXLAB or 63 C-LAB inserts, and the minimum order is one sheet.

Standard symbols

If custom wording isn’t needed, RAFI supplies ready-printed FLEXLAB and C-LAB insert sheets with standard symbols.

For the RAFIX FS+ and RAMO series, FLEXLAB bezels also come pre-printed on the rear with standard symbols, including on/off, start/stop, attention, reset, plus/minus and directional arrows. The minimum order is 10.

Parts with nothing to print on

USB feed-throughs, keylock switches and some other products can’t be labelled directly. RAFI label holders take legend labels, and blank labels are available for you to print yourself. They’re available for the RAFIX 22 QR, RAMO 22 and RAFIX 22 FS+ series, with RAFIX FS+ QC switching elements.

Emergency stops

For the emergency stop versions of the RAMO, RAFIX FS+ and LUMOTAST series, RAFI offers adhesive labels with standard wording in various languages, or printed to customer specifications.
