Phoenix Contact's ESSENTIAL Edition power supplies are in stock now, and well priced for what you get.
Our pricing on the range is locked in until it rises again next year. If DC power supplies are a regular line on your bill of materials, now's the time to lock it in.
But price isn't the only reason to look at this range.
The ESSENTIAL Edition range is built around core power supply functions: consistent, stable DC power that installs cleanly on a DIN rail and keeps working, panel after panel, for years.
It's the right fit when simplicity and durability matter more than an expanded feature set.
The range uses fanless convection cooling instead of a fan. No moving parts means nothing to wear out and less maintenance to think about, particularly in dusty or restricted-airflow environments where fans are often the first thing to fail.
Industrial panels aren't gentle environments, and these units are built with that in mind:
• Operating temperature range of −20°C to +70°C
• Integrated temperature monitoring
• Vibration resistance up to 2.3 g
• Shock resistance up to 15 g for 15 ms
• Internal protection against overvoltage, overcurrent and excessive internal temperature
• SEMI F47 compliance, for immunity to voltage dips that can cause nuisance shutdowns downstream
For switchboard builders, OEMs and electrical contractors, that means one less thing to worry about once the job's done.
The DIN rail adapter comes pre-installed, so there's no separate mounting step. The compact, fanless body doesn't need extra clearance for airflow either, so it drops straight into a standard control layout.
For a panel builder doing this dozens of times a week, that's minutes back on every build.
Single-phase units (24V DC output), at Switches Plus's current pricing:
• 75W – $31.85 ex GST
• 120W – $65.30 ex GST
• 240W – $110.40 ex GST
• 480W – $186.30 ex GST
Three-phase units are also available in 240W, 480W and 960W. For current pricing and availability across the full range, check the product page or speak with our team.
If you're speccing DIN rail power for a switchboard build, a machine control panel, or an OEM product line, the ESSENTIAL Edition range covers the fundamentals without paying for capability you don't need.
It suits electrical contractors just as well, whether that's replacing a failed power supply on-site or upgrading an existing panel. Same reliability, same straightforward install.
Our current pricing on this range runs until it changes again next year.
