Xtrem® H07RN-F rubber cable for industrial applications

Thanks to its extraordinary flexibility and strength, the XTREM® H07RN-F cable is designed to supply power in fixed and mobile service installations, such as industrial installations, electric motors and equipment, wind turbines, cranes, heavy tools, generator sets, and submersible pumps in deep water installations, among others.

An Extra-Flexible, Strong And Versatile Rubber Cable

XTREM® H07RN-F rubber cables, also known as rubber cables or neoprene cables, are extremely flexible, robust and resistant. They are widely used in industrial areas and in installations requiring cables subject to constant bending and twisting movements. Rubber cables are resistant to oils, water, ozone, ageing and abrasion, and are designed for intensive use in industrial equipment, heavy tools, battery chargers, portable lights and extension cords. They are also recommended for machines, cranes and dock power applications or where water immersion is required.

Technical Characteristics Of The Xtrem® H07RN-F Cable

The XTREM® H07RN-F cable has extreme flexibility and excellent resistance to extreme temperatures, abrasion and impact and can be installed permanently submerged in water (AD8):

  • Extra-flexible cable.

  • Resistant to extreme temperatures (90ºC-40ºC).

  • Resistant to oils, abrasions and impacts.

  • AD8 (submerged in water).

Installations Where It Is Advisable To Use Xtrem® H07RN-F Cable

The robustness-flexibility tandem makes the XTREM® H07RN-F rubber cable ideal for supplying electrical power in the most demanding installations:

  • Industry, construction.

  • Mining industry, oil, gas.

  • Wind turbines.

  • Portable or audio-visual engines and mobile equipment.

  • Agricultural establishments.

  • Caravans or caravan parks.

  • Submersible pumps and drinking water.

  • Aquaculture, fish farms, shrimp farms, and “living” water (with presence of micro-organisms and aquatic species).

  • Deep wells.

  • Mobile equipment: cranes, construction equipment and heavy machinery.

  • Marine applications: power generation on ships.

  • Power cables for hand-held power tools (e.g. welding machines) and small electrical appliances.

In general, H07RN-F cable is recommended for fixed and mobile service applications with strong mechanical demands.

At Top Cable we manufacture and supply flexible rubber cables according to various International standards

What certifications does the XTREM® H07RN-F cable meet? What is its CPR rating?

The XTREM® H07RN-F cable has been designed according to the reference standard EN 50525-2-21 / IEC 60092-353 / IEC 60245 and complies with the European CPR (Construction Products Regulation) Eca. In addition, the XTREM® H07RN-F cable is CE, RoHS, AENOR, SEC, and certified.

What does H07RN-F mean on a power cable?

Each cable has a standardised designation. The letters and numbers refer to the cable outer sheaths, other outer sheaths, the conductor class, the rated voltage and the final composition of the cable. In the case of H07RN-F, the letters stand for:

H: conforms to a harmonised standard.
07: rated voltage 450/750V.
R: EPR insulation.
N: polychloroprene (PCP) sheath.
-F: flexible conductor (class 5).

What is the colour code of the XTREM® H07RN-F cable?

The identification of the insulated conductors of the XTREM® H07RN-F cable, according to the HD 308 standard and UNE-EN 50334 is as follows:

1 x Natural.
2 x Blue + Brown.
3 G Blue + Brown + Yellow/Green.
3 x Brown + Black + Grey.
4 G Brown + Black + Grey + Grey + Yellow/Green.
4 x Brown + Black + Grey + Grey + Blue.
5 G Brown + Black + Grey + Grey + Blue + Yellow/Green.
5 x Brown + Black + Grey + Black + Grey + Black + Blue.
6 or more numbered Black + Yellow/Green.

What is the difference between the standard H07RN-F cable and the XTREM® H07RN-F cable manufactured by Top Cable?

Top Cable’s XTREM® H07RN-F cable has been manufactured using improved polymers with respect to the specifications of the EN 50525-2-21 / IEC 60092-353 / IEC 60245 standard, thus presenting a higher temperature and voltage rating than those indicated in the standard:

Maximum conductor temperature: 90°C. >>(the standard indicates 60°C).
Maximum short-circuit temperature: 250°C, for a maximum of 5 seconds. >>(the standard indicates 200°C).
Minimum service temperature: -40°C static with protection >>(standard indicates -25ºC).
Presence of water: AD8 (submerged) >> (the standard indicates AD6, temporary).
